A life on the ocean waves will appeal to many children, and now the world’s biggest cruise ship has been launched – the Oasis Of The Seas – and it’s packed with family-friendly things to do. There are fantastic children’s clubs caring for children from six months to late teens including a brilliant Adventure Ocean programme that includes an art room, a science lab and a dedicated theatre. In addition, the ship has a make-your-own-sundae ice cream parlour, a doughnut shop, a cupcake shop (with cupcake decorating lessons), a hand-carved carousel, a climbing wall, a children’s water theme park and fantastic family entertainment, including ice shows on a real ice rink and a spectacular water show with high divers and synchronised swimmers. A 14-night Orlando stay-and-cruise holiday costs from £1,559 per person, including a seven-night stay in Orlando, a seven-night cruise from Fort Lauderdale to the private beaches of Labadee, Costa Maya and Cozumel, and flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow.
