The Verandah in Antigua
The Verandah is a beautiful resort that will please the whole family
Posted: 10 August 2011
Antigua’s newest family-friendly resort, The Verandah, is offering great deals for families this summer. Part of the Elite Island Resort group, The Verandah is set in 30 spectacular acres on the northeast coast of the island, built around a big lagoon-shaped pool.
There’s a spa, a children’s club – designed by interiors specialist Linda Barker – an adventure playground, water sports, volleyball, tennis and a fitness centre. There are also hiking trails in the nearby National Park. While August and September are low season in the Caribbean, that makes it an even better time for families to travel. Thomas Cook Signature offers seven nights at The Verandah on a room-only basis during September 2009 from £3,532 for a family of four. Prices include flights and transfers.
