British Airways has launched three new routes to the Maldives and Sharm el-Sheikh and Las Vegas – all featured by Thomson Tailormade. There are three flights weekly from Gatwick to the Maldives from £530 per adult, £450 per child return. Seven nights at this paradise island costs from £7,390 for a family of four staying in a family villa at the four-star Kandooma Resort, with a beachfront setting.

Or take a spring break on the Red Sea at Sharm el-Sheikh. A week at the Iberotel Club Fanara and Residence costs £4,900 for a family of four.
