The first OurSpace opened at the luxurious Anahita resort in Mauritius and the ratio of carers to children have been carefully considered, with one nanny for every two children under two and one to every three children aged between two and five. There are also activity specialists for older children.
The resort’s rooms have been divided to accommodate various ages: a sleeping room for infants, a computer room for when the midday heat is too strong and covered outdoor areas, including a swimming pool. Activities include beach volleyball, glass-bottomed boat trips, snorkelling and art classes.
Prices for a seven-night stay at Anahita start at £5,920 for two adults and two children (under 12 years of age) bed and breakfast, including return economy class flights (from London Heathrow) and private transfers. The price for OurSpace is £28 per child, per day.
