HI,
I’m Joe and this is my blog. I’m currently doing this experiment: my quest is to find out whether sartorial elegance is compatible with being an ordinary kid, which is what I am. Here’s some of the things I love: cars, football cards, and watching Spongebob Squarepants. Okay, so I’m partial to dancing along to a bit of Glee too, but you can blame my 14-year-old sister for that.
So, here’s the thing. I get to wear lots of cool clothes and go to cool places. For instance, last night, me and my mummy went to the Moshi Monsters party at the London Aquarium. I looked pretty smart in my Robert Cavalli Devils jacket. In fact, as soon as we arrived one of the girls said: “Love the jacket!” Not sure how pleased Senor Cavalli would have been at the end of the evening, though, cos I spilt my ice-cream down the front and it was a bit sticky from the candyfloss.
It was great hanging out with the sharks and sting rays at the Aquarium. My mummy had pointed out that there would be a lot of girls there (like it was going to be a bad thing) but I got to do this Moshi dance (Hey, Moshi, you’re so fine. You’re so fine, you blow my mind. Hey, Moshi! Hey, Moshi!). The South Bank looked really cool, as it was all lit up at night. We left as Big Ben struck midnight… Well, actually it was 9pm, but it was a school night, and I am only five, you know. I ended the evening feeling a bit tired and emotional – but isn’t that the sign of a good party?
Love J x
