Hi, it's me Joe.
So, another bank holiday, another rainy day… Well, that's how it started out, as Winnie-the-Pooh would say "tut! tut! Looks like rain!” Still, it takes more than a shower or two to keep me indoors – and there's only so many re-runs of Glee a boy can stomach, even if it is the Madonna episode! So despite the clouds we headed out to Marylebone High Street for a spot of lunch at Le Relais de Venise – steak and chips, followed by ice-cream. Yum! Best of all, though, for a boy who likes to let off steam is Marylebone's best-kept secret: Paddington Street Gardens. Tucked away at the end of Moxon Street (hold your nose as you go past the pongy La Fromagerie!) this is the most brilliant children's playground with loads of climbing frames, swings and even good old-fashioned hopscotch. I love it! Oh, and it's the perfect place for a cool boy, and – as if to prove the point – we bumped into Noel Gallagher doing a spot of shopping in Waitrose. I like the look of that guy's swagger: gonna try and emulate that myself one day. So was it Champagne Supernova in his basket? Who knows.
Love Jx
