There are styles to suit all tastes, whether you want to conjure up zing or zen. The print designs at Mini Moderns are an easy juxtaposition of retro meets modern, with influences ranging from textile designs of the Fifties to vintage toys and games; they also use eco-friendly water-based ink and paper from FSC-accredited forests, and its manufacturer pays for the water it uses to be specially cleaned after use. “We try to limit the amount of colour in the designs, so they are fun, but not too over-stimulating,” says Creative Director Keith Stephenson. “I think walls look better once they have bookshelves and furniture around them. Our designs are made to blend in, rather than be a focal point.”
