Seesaw

Louise Campbell, Erik Jørgensen, Denmark, www.erik-joergensen.com

Designer Louise Campbell did not create the Seesaw expressly for children but “with clear references to childhood.” As such, it is one of those products that starts out as a playful approach to adult furniture and becomes something irresistible to both children and adults. Challenging expectations, Campbell crosses a line between serious design and something more fun. After all, the Seesaw is well suited to an informal chat, a bit of rocking or just flopping about.
