An heirloom child’s chair handed down through the generations to their son, Rufus, gave Arabella and Charles Hampson the inspiration to set up their own company specialising in petite seats. Made from solid beech, The Tissington is crafted by artisan furniture-makers at Little Chairs’ workshop in Derbyshire, an area with a rich tradition of furniture-making. Chairs can be upholstered in cool designer fabrics, which include everything from striking block colours to animal and aeroplane motifs.
