Hand knitted in bold hues with a soft, huggable belly and a cheery smile, this happy Humpty Dumpty would take pride of place in any child's bedroom, pride being an important word to the team behind Humpty and pals - not-for-profit community business, Pebble.
Each toy is hand crafted by women in rural areas of Bangladesh, who are unable to find other full-time employment because of their children. Every employee is offered a safe and flexible working environment close to their homes as well as a reliable, fair wage.
The new range, Once Upon a Time, features a plethora of familiar fairytale faces including a white unicorn, purple-cloaked wizard and this adorable Humpty Dumpty. A beautiful toy that makes a real difference to women's lives? You can't say much fairer than that.
