This month: Retro tablewear, McCartney Mondays and helping your child love asparagus

Peace and love Linda

There is a distinct psychedelic flavour to this new animated short for the McCartney brood’s Love Linda campaign, remembering the great lady’s work to promote vegetarian living.

You may not feel ready to give up the filet mignon quite yet, but Paul, Stella and Mary do make a convincing case for Meat Free Mondays. Giving up meat for just one day a week can boost your family’s health, reduce your impact on the environment and help you save a few pennies to invest in a pair of Stella’s vegetarian faux leather boots. For a selection of Mary’s favourite meat-free recipes, including Sunday roast and quesadillas click here.
