Made using a Mache Kit, £2.49

How to make it:

Prepare the surface of your letters by covering in a coat of white paint and allow to dry. Cut your paper into assorted sizes of squares and rectangles.

Spread some glue onto your letter (be generous) then use the brush to pick up and position a piece of paper on top of the letter. Add more glue to the paper to fix it in place.

Continue until the entire surface of your letter is covered and leave to dry. Repeat until all your letters are decorated.

Hints and tips:

Snip with scissors where the paper square has to fit around corners and over curves
