Domenica's darling dogs
These quirky Celtic canines are crafted by hand, with love
These adorable felted friends are the creation of Scottish designer and author Domenica More Gordon , who takes inspiration from the magical bond we feel to our childhood toys and her Grandfather’s scruffy pet named Dog Show.
Domenica crafts her petite pooches meticulously by hand through a process called dry felting, each with his own unique features and endearing personality which have won them legions of fans young and old, including The Who rocker Pete Townshend and A-list daddy Brad Pitt.
These cute critters elegantly straddle the line between being works of art and high-end dolls, having been displayed in galleries and snapped up for princely sums by enamoured fans worldwide. For the deft of hand who cannot stretch to the three figure price tag of Domenica's hand spun creations, crafty DIY kits are also available to buy from her online boutique starting at a very reasonable £24.50.
