54 restaurants nationwide make up our family-friendly restaurant group. From our first in Hampstead in 1998, we immediately became popular with parents by offering somewhere kids could be themselves without adults feeling the need to apologise for it! They also loved our great value kids meals, colourful interiors and healthy options such as smoothies. Since then, although we’ve grown into a successful chain, we’ve tried to keep the same philosophy, making kids and parents a part of the experience, with innovative kids menus including interactive games and lots of fun partnerships such as this year’s campaign with PlayDOH.
• We engage toddlers to teens with our interactive place mats designed to excite and educate at the same time. This year’s matt, in association with animation Legends of Oz starring Glee Star Lea Michele, proved a big hit with plenty of games, puzzles and colouring to appeal across the board!
• Over the past 16 years we’ve refined our menus to appeal to all children, from babies through to young adults. We have a dedicated menu of mini breakfasts and mains, consisting of freshly cooked, healthy food that our customers know and love – always served with a smile (and often a balloon too). This year we have added to that, refining the menu further to include low GI and Gluten free options such as sweet potato fries and baked salmon with salad and brown rice. We strive to make healthy options fun, such as our Banana Split which is made with frozen yogurt instead of ice cream and decorated with seeds as opposed to sprinkles.
• Our restaurants are fun and friendly – we want to make people feel comfortable and at home in them. We hope each design reflects this – using colour and print to create a space that appeals to people of all ages.
• Our commitment to families is something we continue to work on at all times with interesting marketing collaborations with the likes of PlayDOH this summer, Hopster and National Dental Association for National Smile Month and our interactive advent calendar.
"A reliably delicious family-friendly restaurant - but don't mistake 'reliable' for anything run-of-the-mill: this varied menu is filled with dishes bursting with flavour. Our favourite was the edamame beans topped with soy and chilli - a little dish packed with goodness and taste. A great way to introduce kids to mild spices."
