The first ever Lego Movie launches imminently

“I work alone” is the macho mantra of Indiana Jones lookalike Clutch Powers, so when he meets up with his sidekick helpers – including a blonde Australian with painted cleavage and curves and a stubbled fireman who looks a bit like George Michael – he’s not impressed. They set off through a familiar Lego world of space missions and medieval dragons in a bid to help a young prince to regain his rightful place on the throne. First, however, Clutch must do battle with the wicked wizard Mallock the Malign, and learn the value of teamwork. Filled with fast-paced action and drama with plenty of comic one-liners, a touch of romance and lots of product placement. 

The Adventures Of Clutch Powers, Universal £14.99, 80 mins, is released on July 26.
