Night At The Museum 2
After-hours in the Smithsonian
AS A ROOKIE museum night guard in the original Night At The Museum, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) certainly had his hands full trying to control a host of unruly exhibits, beasts and historical figures who came to life after hours. Fast-forward to a new and seemingly slicker Larry, who’s gone up in the world – he’s now CEO of a successful gadget company. But wouldn’t you guess that he’s still the same affable, but accident-prone, guy inside. When he decides to infiltrate the Smithsonian in Washington DC to rescue his relocated pals, you can guarantee that plenty of mayhem and chaos will soon ensue.
Expect brilliant cameo performances from Robin Williams as Theodore Roosevelt, plus plenty of comic banter between diminutive sparring partners Owen Wilson as cowboy Jebediah and Steve Coogan hamming it up as Roman soldier Octavius. There’s even a little love interest for single father Larry as he falls for the charms of glamorous aviator Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams).
