While according to The Drifters Saturday night is prime time for a trip to the movies, if you're a child, Saturday morning is where it's at. Every weekend, the Barbican opens wide its doors to young movie-goers with its Family Film Club. As part of its New Versions season, the club is kicking off with a screening of Gnomeo And Juliet on June 4. A fresh take on Shakespeare's famous tale of star-crossed lovers, the film is set in the gardens of suburbia and follows the trysts and tribulations of two pointy-hatted sweethearts. The screening will be preceded by activities from the trolley in the foyer and the chance to win prizes. Sounds like a date!

Movie Trolley Activities: 10.30am
Screening: 11am
Tickets: £3 (Family Film Club members), £5 (Non Members).
