G-Force
Guinea pigs are not noted for their brains. They are also quite podgy and make a high-pitched squealing noise when alarmed. Not exactly what you’d look for in a prospective secret agent. But the G-Force are no ordinary guinea pigs.
Genetically engineered by the FBI, these rodents have been trained up to form an elite espionage squad. Each member has their unique strengths. There’s Agent Darwin, the leader of the gang, who’s a dab hand with the blow torch. He’s flanked by weapons expert Agent Blaster and edgy martial arts pro Agent Juarez, voiced by Penélope Cruz, who gives the role some fiery Latin charm. There’s also Agent Speckles, who, unlike the rest, is not a guinea pig at all but a computer-mad mole.
These off-the-wall characters are launched into an equally crazy storyline. Captured by a pest controller, the gang are unceremoniously dumped in a pet shop. After busting out of the joint, they are soon busy fighting off a megalomaniac millionaire who is trying to take over the world with an army of household appliances. Brilliant, barmy fun.
