Suri Cruise already has some serious competition in the style stakes from modern day Baby Spice, Harper Seven. But the Beckham children's already extensive wardrobes are set to get even bigger after the announcement this weekend that Victoria Beckham is set to launch her own childrenswear line. Her eponymous label has been a runaway success despite initial naysayers predicting otherwise. Having enjoyed success with some seriously beautiful womenswear, gorgeous eyewear ranges and with a more affordable Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection launching for spring 2012, there is no stopping this popstar-turned-designer. Indeed, the news of plans to introduce a childrenswear line comes just days after most of Victoria's exclusive collection for online store Net-a-Porter sold out.
Having three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, as well as divine baby girl Harper Seven, Victoria has got four models-in-the-making who were the inspiration behind her turning her hand to childrenswear design. According to an inside source, Victoria has been sketching practical and fun designs whilst trotting around stylish destinations with the family. She was recently spotted shopping in New York with Harper at one of Junior's favourite boutiques, Bonpoint.
It is not yet known when or where the collection is set to launch, but we are hoping it will be as beautifully presented as the womenswear. With three boys and one girl and husband David Beckham being included in the design discussions, hopefully those sketches will include something for everyone - watch this space!
