It has always been our proud boast that Junior uses the world’s finest photographers – and it seems we were right! Photographer and long-time contributor to Junior, David Handley, has just been awarded the highly coveted Sony World Fashion Photographer 2010 award for a fashion shoot, which appeared in Junior magazine in April 2009. Entitled African Dream, the shoot was inspired by the rural African portraits of photographer Jackie Nickerson in her book Farm. David has just returned from the star-studded award ceremony in Cannes, south of France, where champagne was supped and a glass was raised to David – and to Junior. Congratulations!
