The Telegraph newspaper yesterday announced that the British design duo Preen – Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton – are to launch their debut childrenswear collection. The label orginally started with a shop in Portabello market and rose to fame for their jersey creations at London Fashion Week before moving to the bright lights of New York Fashion Week under the suggestion of legendary American Vogue editor Anna Wintour. The new collection will focus on cool, easygoing childrenswear. The newspaper reported that after the birth of her daughter, Fauve, now two, Bregazzi found it difficult to find great childrenswear. Hasn't anyone ever told her about Junior magazine? If Preen's womenswear is anything to go by, we wait the kidswear in eager anticipation!
