We started our day at Bubble exploring the Bubble G.U.M stands; now in it's third season, this selection of exhibitors was the best yet in terms of exciting new discoveries. We loved the playful Beau Loves collection, designed by a mother for her son - Beau. We headed straight for the pared down ruff collar tops, casual capes and simple yet effective Zorro mask detail.
Liberty print fabric label, Milla-Moo, was just around the corner, showing gorgeous delicately coloured summer dresses. The stand-out dress was a pale mint green with white lace and chocolate brown ribbon detail, although we also liked the pops of yellow on Japanese style shaped dresses also.
Down in the main hall, there was more than a smattering of new and exciting labels. We discovered Bonnet a Pompon at FIMI trade show earlier this year, and were pleased to see their cute bonnets on display at Bubble - a real crowd pleaser.
Jessie and James is a funky label, set up by ex-Vivienne Westwood designers - Jessie and James. They introduced striking structural dresses, a little reminiscent of No Added Sugar, with interesting curved detail at the waist and shoulders. For boys, the luxe-sportswear is super cool. Certain to be a label to watch.
Mummymoon provided tartan check blazers for boys, complete with elbow pad detail and oversized ruff detail on dresses for girls. Australian label, Olive's friend Pop, showed for the first time at Bubble, presenting an adorable range of vintage inspired clothing for girls. They also had a special mention from Bubble for their retro-styled stand.
Footwear label Pippo caught our eye with stylish brogue trainers and muted, soft leather hi-tops.
Finally, standing out amongst many of the 'upcycle' labels, Ta Daa baby has an adorable range of babywear made from washed cotton shirts. Retaining the original buttoning, we love the soft feel and the clever styling.
Don't miss... Junior discovering lots of Junior Design Award entrants' stands for SS12 as well as more from the perennially chic labels we know and love.
