It's not all white at the White Company Christmas show. I spy a little black teddy bear!
The White Company presented one of the more refreshing Christmas Press shows. Gone were the glitzy sequined party dresses and over-the-top decorations in favour of a modern yet classical Christmas. Clothes had a natural palette of ice white, oatmeal, stone grey and lots of pastels in blues and pinks. The Little White Company are renowned for their beautiful knits and this winter is no exception, with cashmere cardigans in stone grey and pastel pinks looked chic and a beautiful ribbed cashmere jumper dress in baby pink should be on everybody’s wish-list.
In the toy department, a snow-white rocking horse crafted in wood would be ideal for the modern nursery and we simply adored the mini scotty dogs that come with a plaid body warmer and quilted doghouse. Wooden toys were this season’s must-have, according to the Little White Company, who introduced a new mini ambulance with driver to their vehicle range, along with little solder skittles, a bold red double-decker bus with passengers and a sweet pram all crafted in wood. In a bold, and playful, contrast to all that white, we also spied a gorgeous soft teddy bear with ebony fur. In the centre of the room sat a large white tree that was decorated with Nordic handcrafted Santa Claus figurines, woollen mini stockings and quilted love hearts and Christmas bells.
