Junior's cub fashion reporter finds out what's hot and what's not at the world's finest children's fashion fair
So flying with maid Millie is never easy: she is just like a baby. As soon as that engine starts, she falls into a soporific state and she snores. Where is my foot massage in case I get thrombosis? When we arrive, poor Millie is in no fit state to carry all my LV luggage, and complains of swollen feet and sore eyes.
Anyhow, we eventually arrived at the Four Seasons, so I dashed to the pool in my rather swish new Bellerose bikini for an afteroon swim. Whilst breast stroking in the chic hotel pool, maid Millie embarrasses me by dive bombing into the pool in her England football bikini, shouting 'England' as she hits the water... Too, too much!
Furthermore, as we are about to hit the town to attend this evening's soiree, Millie greets me in the hotel foyer in her England strip. After a quick re-style, back in her black and white uni, we are ready to go.
This evening's party is at my favourite interiors and bambino label - Cyrus Company's chic hotel. Fashioned tastefully in Cyrus's signature white, with fabulous fresh flowers everywhere, the hotel is so Elton John. I tuck into summer fruits, smoothies and a number of delicious canapes whilst admiring the hotels rather beautiful foyer which is decorated with egg-shaped chandeliers - too divine. This season's offerings include chic baby bags, quilted in white, a beautiful selection of cashmere blankets and a rather beyond pram. The lovely press girls showed me some of the furniture on offer and I was attracted to the rather large nursery cupboard, although strange sounds and muffles are coming from inside. Is that chanting I hear? I open the large doors with my newly manicured nails and out falls maid Millie with her portable radio...
After binning the radio, ordering the hotel staff to burn any football gear in maid Millie's bag, I am ready to forget today's shambles and start afresh tomorrow. Over and out.
