Little Liberty Belle

London's prettiest department store to open much anticipated childrenswear department

The Bugaboo Chameleon Limited Edition with Liberty tailored fabric - only ten have been made

It feels like a long time coming but much-loved London department store, Liberty, is about to open it's doors to it's brand new childrenswear department. It will stock fashion labels for boys and girls from newborn to eight years including Paul Smith Junior, Maan, Simple Kids and Rita co Rita, as well as it's own signature Liberty collection - which will be available later this year.

There will also be a range of toys, books, accessories and gifts as carefully selected by the Liberty buyers. The department promises to be a veritable wonderland decorated with aqua and coral murals, handmade oversized toys, an interactive toy area and a Meccano chandelier. Spanning 2000 sq ft across the third floor, it  will certainly be a welcome addition to the London children’s shopping scene.

To celebrate the new arrival, Liberty has teamed up with Bugaboo to produce ten exclusive pushchairs. The Bugaboo Chameleon Limited Edition made with Liberty tailored fabric (seen above) costs £950 and will only be available instore from the opening day. So you will definitely need to get your skates to ensure you will be pushing the prettiest pram in town.

Little Liberty is available online now and opens instore from March 1 2012
