Hi, it's me, Joe.
Okay, okay, so before anyone tells me that today of all days I should be sporting the St George's cross on my shirt, let me make it clear that I am not one to follow the crowd (though, boys: don't get me wrong. I want victory as much as the next guy!). Besides, I am wearing a lion on my chest – surely that's enough.
Today, I am wearing the colours of Uganda in support of a brilliant nursery called Kirima that my school sponsors. Usually, I have to wear my school uniform but some days, like today, we can dress as civilians for a donation of £1 which goes off to Kirima, and helps those children buy food and books.
That's all for now. Let's hope today won't end in tears…
Love Jx
