Hallowe'en gig by The Crayonettes at the V&A Museum of Childhood

Cool music, costume-making and film fun

Quirky band The Crayonettes will be performing at the V&A Museum of Childhood this Hallowe'en Sunday, October 31. Firmly in the kindie camp, their new album Playing Out features cool tunes to tickle a child's imagination, while shying away from traditional (and sometimes maddeningly mawkish) nursery room ditties.

Children can also craft their own original Hallowe'en costumes out of recycled materials, while mini flim makers can create their own music videos with film director James Hunter.

Arrayed in their spectacular outfits, spooksters can then dance the afternoon away at the Hallowe'en disco, and tuck into scary snacks.

Time: 2.30-5.45pm. Cost: Free. All ages.
Summerly Room, V&A Museum of Childhood, Cambridge Heath Road E2 9PA. Tel: 020 8983 5200.
