When you pop backstage at Pitti Bimbo to one of the top fashion shows, you don't really expect to be greeted by a bundle of Italian boys mock fighting and racing around but that is what I discovered behind the scenes at Fendi's new launch for Spring/Summer 2011. It turns out that it was a great idea to allow the children to let off steam while the girls were rehearsing as they soon quitened down for a storytime circle just before the show kicked off. A quick touch up for hair and make up, a quick change of outfit and a long wait in line later and the show is ready to begin...
