Pump up the '80s jam
There will be a definite '80s vibe for SS12, especially in boyswear. Suit sleeves were pushed up at Hugo Boss, reminiscent of the original Miami Vice. And it doesn't stop there with colour blocking, neon tees, cool shades, slicked hair and flourescent T-shirts and shorts all in the mix. Hot colours include neon orange and bright turquoise, as seen at Hugo Boss and Cavalli Angels and Devils, set against brilliant white and navy blue for both boys and girls.
Zingy colours were in abundance; Oca-Loca, a girlswear label which is hugley popular in Spain, showed lots of brightly coloured grass skirts, lime green dresses, hot pink crop tops and juicy headwear that Carmen Miranda would be proud of.
