What is your job?
I am a wardrobe stylist for both kids and adult fashion.
What have you created for Junior?
I styled the "Street Smarts" story for Junior (above) which was inspired by "The Satorialist." - individual street style.
What did you enjoy about the New York boys shoot?
I love Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg which is where we shot. It is an artist community neighbouring Manhattan. You feel like you are a million miles away from the city while still being surrounding by eclectic urban street style.
What are your favourite kind of outfits to style?
For me it is not so much the actual pieces so much as the way they are put together. I like to get a feel for the kids and put them in clothes that fit their personality. And of course, accessorising makes all of the difference!
What is the most unusual shoot you have had to style?
I just styled Kathie Lee and Hoda (hosts of the today show in NYC) as the "housewives of Staten island" for People magazine. I put them in velour track suits and Manolos with loads of jewellery, teased hair - it was pretty funny, over the top.
What is the best thing about working with children?
They are spontaneous, unpredictable, and hysterical. You always have a good laugh with the kids. And they see fashion as a transformation sometimes. When you have the right outfit on a kid, they come to life!
