What is your name and where did you grow up?
My name is Emily Cohen and I grew up in Petersham in Surrey
What is your job?
I’m the founder of Sunuva – The UV Swimwear and Beachwear brand for children
Do you have a nickname?
Embo
What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was little I wanted to have a flower shop
What were your favourite pastimes as a child?
I loved horse riding and spending time on the beach with my family
At what age and how did you start to notice fashion?
Really young, about eight years old. I used to do fashion drawings and read Vogue
What was your favourite thing to wear as a child and why?
I had a striped towelling sweatshirt that I thought looked really cool
Which celebrity child and mother would you most like to design for and why?
Gwyneth Paltrow – I love her style, it’s so low key and effortless. She always looks amazing and she is gorgeous
What is your hot fashion tip for summer 2012?
Neon and Flurouescent colours. Neon nails, neon clothes, neon bag – neon everything!
