In a week jam packed with exciting fashion news, we have just heard that fashion group CWF is taking over the worldwide license agreement from previous owners Groupe Zannier, for childrenswear label Little Marc Jacobs. Starting with the autumn winter 2012 collection, the agreement has been signed for the design, production and distribution of the Little Marc Jacobs collection for girls and boys.
The new collection will be heavily influenced by the fabulous ready-to-wear adult collections and will be distributed through a selected network of multibrand retailers, department stores and Marc Jacobs own stores as well as C.W.F. stores; Atelier de Courcelles. Here at Junior, we are super excited to see what this collaboration will bring in terms of colour, design and silhouette - watch this space!
C.W.F. already, under license, design, produce and distribute the children’s collection of seven brands: Boss Kidswear, Burberry, Chloe, DKNY, Elle, Marithe + Francois Girbaud and Timberland.
Chrystel Abadie-Truchet, C.W.F. President has made this statement; “It is with much pride and enthusiasm that we announce our collaboration with Marc Jacobs. This new license perfectly complements the C.W.F. portfolio since it allows consolidating the legitimacy of C.W.F. in top of the range children’s brands development and expanding C.W.F. product offering to better serve its customers.”
