Junior reports on the Bonpoint fashion show

Bonpoint are so damn tasteful, often spotted on mini Sloane rangers whilst on their Sunday afternoon walk with nanny. So no fashion forward show pieces or quirky transitional trends here. The a/winter collection was everything that the brand are good at, sweet plaid coats and shirts, baby-doll dresses for the girls and turn-ups for the boys matched with shirts. Fur gillets were in abundance so were fur hats, perhaps aimed at the Russian clientele who now occupy most of Kensington and Knightsbridge. Trusted grey and charcoal blacks were shown against muted off-beat colours such as buff and workman orange. Jeans were tucked into boots, gillets and jackets were often laid over Bonpoint's signature liberty print blouse. The most exciting look was an a-line collarless jacket in grey, decorated in glitter, which looked modern when teamed with charcoal denim pants.
