Wolf watching in the Pyrénées

Dance with wolves at a French animal park

Get close to nature and spend the day(and a night) wolf watching from a luxury chalet next to a wolf pack’s enclosure in the Parc Animalier Des Pyrénées. Situated just outside Argelès-Gazost, a pretty town in France’s Hautes Pyrénées just a short drive from Lourdes, the Parc also offers lots more animal entertainment, with a petting farm, nature trails and other enclosures, including those housing bears and birds of prey. Argelès-Gazost is worth a visit, too, with a thermal spa and a casino, plus the stunning mountains and lakes to enjoy. Priced at €290 for a family of four staying for one night (open from Easter), including dinner and breakfast, and entrance to the Parc.
