Marie Soudré-Richard, founder of Little Fashion Gallery and mother of Paul, four, shares family places locals love:
- Café Bonpoint
“I love the food at this restaurant in the amazing Bonpoint boutique. The owner is English; she also has A Priori Thé, in La Galerie Vivienne near the Louvre. The food is exquisite – the best of English brunch with a French touch. If you visit, ask for Claude, the waiter. Tell him you are coming on behalf of Paul’s mother, and he will treat you well!”

- Le Palais de Tokyo
“This modern art museum is great and has a very nice café restaurant called Tokyo Eat. While there, your children can go to the Tok Tok ateliers, such as drawing workshops, and the guides are fun and very clever – children love it!”

- Le Musée en Herbe
“This place is just the right size for children of all ages – there is a mix
of exhibitions, classes and a great bookshop. The atmosphere is cosy – but book in advance to secure a place for classes, as places go very quickly.”
21 rue Hérold, 75001 Paris; www.musee-en-herbe.com/English
- Le Jardin du Luxembourg
“The place is lovely – definitely my favourite park in Paris. It’s not far from la rue de Tournon and Bonpoint in St Germain des Prés. This is the epitomy of Parisian bobo chic – as we call it! Children playing in the chicest sandpits in the chicest outfits, all wearing Luco, Zef and Bonpoint with Pépé shoes or classic Start-rite on their feet”
- The Little Fashion Gallery Shop
“Do come and visit! We’re open Monday to Friday from 9am till 7pm.”
