Where?Paphos, near the birthplace of Aphrodite.

Why go there? It enjoys the mildest temperatures on Cyprus – even winter temperatures may hit 20°C.

Children will love... Super Aphrodite Water Park. Get in the water, on the water and under the water on rides, slides and boats at this enormous water park. Paphos also boasts glorious sandy beaches.

Parents will love...The history. With Iron Age remains, medieval cities, Roman mosaics and ancient shrines, you will be spoilt for choice.

Stay at… A family-friendly luxury villa with pool at the Aphrodite Hills Resort, just 15 minutes from Paphos and with Scott Dunn’s new children’s club opening there in March. Prices for a family of four staying seven nights start from £4,780, including flights, car hire and one night in-villa private dining.
