Why we love the coast of a thousand islands

Where? Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian coast.

Why go there? Famed for its red rooves, the city of Dubrovnik is also just a hop away from the many beautiful islands off the Dalmatian coast.

Children will love.. A nature trail in one of the island’s national parks or a visit to Copacabana beach with its spectacularly fun sea slides.

Parents will love... Island-hopping trips to gems such as Lokrum with its tranquil botanic gardens or exploring beautiful Dubrovnik itself – the Museum of Modern Art has terraces with stunning views.

Stay at… The Dubrovnik Palace or, for a quirky alternative, try the Lighthouse Grebeni.
