Famed for stunning scenery that has inspired artists from Cézanne to Van Gogh, Provence could now be just the place to inspire children in the art of play. The Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche has teamed up with Lego to create a Kids For All Seasons Centre, which includes two playrooms (one for children aged two to five, the other for six- to 12-year-olds) and a splash pool complete with a pirate boat and watersquirting dinosaurs. All this is in addition to the already fantastic children’s programme and activities ranging from botanical tours to pick lavender and rosemary, cookery lessons, pony trekking, art classes and the chance to learn a little French. From £569 per night for a family of four.
