Imagine the fun and romance of staying in a gypsy caravan. Children will love it. Now Canvas Holidays has introduced gypsy-style caravans on several of its campsites in France to cater for families looking for a quieter, more secluded site.
The cosy, boho-style ‘Roulottes de Campagne’ are purpose-built with insulation, hot water and all the mod cons. Each one sleeps up to five and are located at Corréze in Limousin; Gers in Midi Pyrénées; Vienne in Poitou-Charantes; and Allier in Auvergne.
The ‘Roulottes de Campagne’ start from just £24 per person per night based on a seven-night stay for two adults and three children.
