Camping meets Cartier on the lovely beaches of Île de Noirmoutier in the Vendée region of France at Domaine Les Moulins, a new luxury campsite (above). The brainchild of Alain Dominique Perrin, former Chief Executive of the Richemont group of luxury brands that includes Cartier, the sumptuous site embraces Perrin’s “Original Camping” eco-friendly ideals to provide an upmarket camping holiday with ocean views. Families can stay in a tent or an eco lodge and there’s a bar and restaurant, three pools, spa and Mini Campers children’s club, while horse riding and sailing are among the activities on offer. From €699 per week for a family of four staying in an Ocean Dream Eco Lodge with Camping Les Moulins in May.
