Every child would love a treehouse camping holiday in France! Each thatched-roofed house is built around a tree trunk and entered via a spiral staircase and can sleep six, and has a large decked terrace with table and chairs. The Frontier Tent is set on the ground and has full kitchen facilities.

The treehouses are at La Croix du Vieux Pont in Berny Rivière, a 90-minute drive from Paris, as well as at two Breton sites. A five-night treehouse stay in May at La Croix du Vieux Pont for a family of two adults and up to four children starts from £449, including midweek Dover–Calais ferry crossings.

A lovely place to stay in a campsite in France where you can sleep in a tree house is the Fredland Campsite near Paris and Disneyland. We booked our camping holiday with http://www.franceloc.co.uk and had a fantastic summer in France with the children.
I must admit I loved sleeping the tree house just as much as my 2 children, it was a holiday we will talk about for a long time! (yes, they provide proper beds and bathroom facilities! always good with young kids).
Being so close to Paris we had a couple of day trips to see the Eiffel Tower and the Louvres, also managed a day (it was so hot) in Disneyland too. Highly recommend the experience!
