The Birmingham Hippodrome plays host to a variety of entertainments on Saturdays across the summer. July 22–24 there will be a circus theme, with acrobatics and amusements courtesy of the shambolic No Fit State Circus.

Pick up an ancient map and follow the clues around the Herbert Art Gallery And Museum in Coventry to uncover precious treasures. Once the quest is complete, make a special box to keep your treasures safe.
Children’s Wildlife Wander
July 28–September 1
Enjoy a walk with the wardens and look for wildlife around the park at Kedleston Hall in Derbyshire.
The fun of the beach comes to Bantock House and Park, Wolverhampton, with sandcastles and windmills to make and decorate.
Go on a hunt for the three Bs – bugs, beetles and butterflies at Brierley Forest Park, Nottinghamshire. Catch them using pooters and bug catchers and examine them under the microscope.
A fabulous day out for all the family Warwick Racecourse. Free entertainment for children includes the Big Red Bus Circus workshop, bouncy castle, Punch and Judy shows, face painters and Derby hoppers.
