Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: a comic walks into an upside-down purple cow… No? Well, the barmy bovine location is not the only unconventional aspect of these performances during the Southbank Centre’s E4 Udderbelly Festival. Taking place during the afternoon, Comedy Club 4 Kids aims to tickle the funnybones of a more youthful crowd than the varied line-up of stand-up performers may be used to, meaning the audience can look forward to jokes that work on every level and, perhaps most unusually of all, absolutely no rude words.
