Christmas At Beamish

Discover the traditions of Christmas through the ages at the interactive Beamish Museum in County Durham where you can experience all the trimmings of a Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian Christmas. Festive families can stroll around the village taking in cooking traditions, vintage-style shopping and meet an old-fashioned Father Christmas in his magical grotto.

Young fans of the classic children’s story will have opportunity to meet the gentle giant himself, listen to special readings, have their face painted and enter a competition to see The Gruffalo Live on tour.
