Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker!

World-renowned choreographer, Matthew Bourne brings his sugar-coated spectacular to the Edinburgh Festival Theatre for a limited run before leaping off to London’s West End. Children and adults alike will adore being transported to Sweetieland with this contemporary interpretation of the classic Christmas ballet, which features lashings of Bourne’s trademark wit and spellbinding choreography.

The Enchanted Castle

Stroll through the rooms at Culzean Castle And Country Park for an enchanting fairytale experience this winter as each room is to be transformed into a living scene from well-loved childhood tales. Costumed characters, music and song will be used to transport your family into a classic story such as Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland and Narnia.

Get into the spirit of Christmas past at Brodrick Castle with an afternoon of carol singing, chestnut roasting, Christmas crafting and mince pie devouring. Father Christmas will be on hand to add a touch of magic to the vintage style celebrations with a spot of seasonal storytelling.
