Family Discovery Trail

Get the whole family involved by exploring Dyrham Park through exciting guided activities.

French Market
April 21, 22
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Waddesdon Manor and allow your taste-buds to run wild. The children will experience a ‘taste’ of France with all of the free samples and the parents will enjoy the variety of stalls on offer.

Bunny Hunt
March 31– April 9
Its time to put your navigation skills to the test at Basildon Park. Solve the Easter trail by exploring the house looking for Basildon bunnies and win yourself a well deserved prize.

It’s Lambing Time
Daily until the April 5
It's Spring, which means that it's lambing time. Celebrate the arrival of the new-borns at Wimpole Estate and learn about the life of sheep.

Easter Bonnet Parade
April 8
It’s the annual Dawlish Easter Bonnet parade which means that it's time to make a statement. Put those artistic skills to the test and design a happening hat which people won’t be able to resist looking at. After the parade, carry on the creativity by relaxing on the Dawlish lawn for an egg decorating competition.

Step into Spring
March 31 – April 14
Banbury Museum, has many daily activities to get involved in. If you are needing a little bit of help getting into the feeling of spring, what better way to do it than by helping to create a spring meadow in the museum itself.

Storytelling

With the use of magical puppets, intricate design, original music and the simplest of dialogue, the Theatre of Widdershins brings the classic tale of The Elves and the Shoe-maker at the Winchester Discovery Centre.
