Children's Chopstick Lessons
April 4, 11
Luxury dim-sum specialists, Royal China Queensway will be teaching children to master a skill that some parents may find to be slippery business - the art of using chopsticks. This free hour long lesson will include plenty of fun activities, complimentary treats and dim sum to practice on, with a prize at the end for the child who best demonstrates their new skills in a competition.

Easter Egg Painting
April 8
Children can get creative in the Design Museum's Blueprint Cafe by taking part in a complimentary Easter egg panting session out on the terrace. There will also be a special two or three course fixed price menu available for parents to enjoy while taking in the cafe's views over Tower Bridge and The Thames.

The Big Egg Hunt
Until April 9
This event, sponsored by Faberge, sees 200  ceramic eggs hidden all across London, with designs  by famous artists, designers, architects and jewelers. Families can grab a map or an app, put their walking shoes on, and discover those big eggs.

Matilda The Musical
April 12
Matilda was an enormous hit as a film and it has had the same response as this new musical. It has been cleverly put together with  quirky music from Tim Minchin that children will be certain to love. Be sure to take a trip to Cambridge Theatre so that you don’t miss out.

Easter Trail
March 31 – April 15
The magical Kew Gardens are having an Easter Bunny visitor as well as characters from Kew’s climbers and creepers. They will all be on hand to help with the egg trail and to make the hunt extra exciting.

Easter Fair
April 5 – 15
If you’re not into rides, there is no need to panic as Finsbury Park will accommodate  the whole family young and old with its traditional attractions.

Easter Bonanza
April 7
Fully immerse yourself in the Easter celebrations by going completely creatively crazy. Geffrye Museum, has enough on offer to keep the children entertained all throughout the holidays, and to give them a bag full of Easter goodies to go home with.

Chocolate Festival
March 30 – April 1
If you haven’t purchased your Easter eggs yet, then what better place to do so other than a chocolate festival at Southbank Centre. Indulge yourself in the deliciousness of real artisan chocolate and discover the perfect egg to buy either for yourself or a loved one.

Make a Mask
March 31 – April 5, April 10 – 15
Venture down to the Museum of Childhood and listen to the re-telling of some true classic tales which have been children’s favorites for years, and then make a mask of your favorite story character.
