Fab music? Yes. Chilled-out family vibe? Yes. Free scoops of ice-cream? Yummy, yes, yes, yes. You'll find it all at the family-friendly Ben & Jerry's Sundae Musical Festival. The family-centred extravaganza, now in its seventh year, has become a regular diary date for funky families. This year, there are two chances to indulge as the festival will take place simultaneously in venues on Clapham Common and Manchester's Heston Park.
This year's Double-Whammy musical line-up includes Gary "Are Friends Electric?” Numan, Maximon Park, Ocean Colour Scene, Ash and Fun Lovin' Criminals. There's also plenty to divert the young festival goers (as if the enticement to indulge in plentiful Ben & Jerry's Fairtrade ice cream, including the delicious new Coconutterly Fair, isn't enough) including fairground attractions, a traditional petting farm and, er, bare-toe wrestling.
