Dirt At The Science Centre
September 23–26
Join in a gloriously grimy programme of filthy fun at the Glasgow Science Centre as part of the Wellcome Trust’s Dirt Season. Learn about disgusting digestion, take part in an infection detection experiment and become a crime scene investigator for the afternoon.

Apples and Cornkisters

Bring the whole family along to celebrate the new season’s harvest in the famously beautiful setting of Pitmedden Gardens, Aberdeenshire. Enjoy a delicious apple or pear from the orchard and immerse yourself in the autumnal atmosphere with music and children’s entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Michaelmass Merriment

Head to Stirling Castle to join the young Mary Queen Of Scots in her celebration of Michaelmass, the medieval feast day celebrating the collection of the Harvest. Two days of traditional entertainment will include comedy, music, dance, food and games.

Scottish International Storytelling Festival

This annual festival features a week-long calendar of live tale-telling performances and events across Scotland including craft and story-making sessions for children.
