A Grow-Your-Own Revolution In London

Families seeking a breath of fresh air should head for The Forge in Camden on February 4, where the regular farmer's market will be offering a selection of delicious local foods as well as an afternoon of gardening activities for all ages.

Green fingered children can hone their horticultural skills by joining in a morning planting session with  hints and tips on how to nurture growth, then mark a seed pot and visit each week to see how much the plant has grown.

Those who have worked up an appetite can also enjoy a special lunch menu with a live musical accompaniment from organ blues trio, Atlantic B3.

The Forge Farmers Market, 10am-3pm, The Forge, Camden.
